Fire Mitigation
Proper fire mitigation practices greatly reduce your risk of losing your mountain home in the event of a forest fire. Mitigation can increase property value, benefit forest health, and improve appearance and wildlife habitat. It reduces fuels around your property and creates a defensible space, allowing firefighters to access your property.
We collaborate with you to create a customer mitigation plan that is right for you and your property considering factors such as neighbors, forest aesthetics, wildlife habitat, and practicality. We base our mitigation practices on the standards set forth by the Colorado State Forest Service.
Tree Removal
Removal of trees can be a dangerous and daunting task. Tree Phaller Services has the expertise and skills to remove hazardous trees on your property. We use proper rigging, climbing, and felling techniques to insure the tree is removed without damage to property.
Brush Removal
Brush removal is one of the most efficient ways to remove fuels surrounding the property. The usability of the property is increased, views are enhanced, and wildlife is able to pass through more easily.
Wood chipping
Tree Phaller Services operates a Vermeer BC900 XL wood chipper, able to handle up to 8 inch logs. We can chip any existing slash piles you may have on your property. This is option is much safer than burning slash piles. Wood chips can be hauled away, broadcast or piled for future mulch use. If you are in need of wood chips for landscaping, please call us.
Firewood Sales
We remove and split unwanted wood from our projects throughout the season to sell as firewood, repurposing the wood rather than creating a waste product. We sell cords, bundles, or customized amounts. Delivery is available. We can also bring our splitter to you and split any wood you may have.
Outdoor Handyman
We have been asked many times about doing odd jobs such as building/ repairing fences, splitting wood, pressure washing, building small structures, and light mechanics. We will be happy to consider these odd jobs if they are within our skill set, Just ask!
Hauling
We have a 12'x6'x4' hydraulic dump trailer that we can use for hauliing firewood, wood chips or anything you may need moved.
